Adult learners seek literacy and adult basic education programs to meet a wide range of goals. Some want to achieve their GED or join a work training program. Some want to go to college. Parents want to be able to read to their children, help them with their homework and better interact with their teachers. Some want their driver’s license or U.S. citizenship.
- Volunteer tutors receive training and materials, and will work with one to two learners over time to help them improve their reading and comprehension.
